Curious Mind, Compassionate Heart

I am Swasthika Kamalakannan, a high school student passionate about psychology, healthcare, scientific research, and the many ways we can make a positive difference in people's lives.

My interest in medicine and human behavior has inspired me to explore healthcare environments and scientific research. Through my hospital internship in Puducherry and my Medical Microbiology CTE coursework, I have gained exposure to patient care, interdisciplinary healthcare, laboratory techniques, and the importance of scientific curiosity.

Beyond science, music and creative writing are important parts of who I am. From exploring Carnatic and Western vocals to sharing stories and poetry, I enjoy expressing ideas, connecting with people, and discovering new ways to use creativity meaningfully.

As a student leader involved in community initiatives and the UN Sustainable Development Goals, I value collaboration, service, and purposeful action. Every experience motivates me to keep learning, challenge myself, and work toward a future where I can contribute to healthcare and society.
